Forward Motion for Writers

Hello All,

It's been a long time since I've been here and like another recent returnee, I have found the site very different from before and I had to create a new account.

About me: I'm in my 50's and write science fiction, with one short story published by an online magazine that no longer exists. For the past 4 years, I've had a lot of difficulty writing due to the wall known as writer's block. Just yesterday, however, while doing a writing exercise, I realized that writer's block doesn't exist...it's just me. I've been blocking myself for these years and now it's time to stop doing that.

So, I'm back. I'm working on a sci-fi mystery dealing with alien profiling.
