Yay, another science fiction writer! We have a science fiction forum if you would like to start any discussion.

You may want to try writing, keeping going while making notes of things you might want to change, but keep going to the end. Then look at your list of notes to yourself to see how things still apply. Sometimes, once you write the very end, you know what the beginning of the story needs to be, as well as other part of the story. I do this a lot. It keeps the critical voice from interfering with the creative writing. Not to mention, that sometimes when I go back I find a section that I hated wasn't so bad after all. In fact, it might be quite good and just what the story needed in that section. Something you might want to give a try. See if it gets you further.

Welcome to FM!
NOTE: I am also "Dreamerscove." At least I think I am. With so many characters running around my head, I'm never quite sure. 'Tis the nature of being a writer.
