Writing of any sort can be a lonely endeavor. We love it, but it can be hard to keep your forward motion on track.
Hence this challenge. Avoid the Writer’s Block of Doom! We invite you to set achievable writing-related goals with a deadline date. We will act as external accountability, motivation, and the push towards regular productivity.
But, this is fun. So, what does that mean? It means stickers! Certificates! Participation awards!
But we have more than that. With each achievement you earn Pirate Gold. Spend them on badges or have a treasure pulled from the FM Treasure Bag and mailed to you!

How It Works
- Create an account at the Forward Motion website or the Forward Motion Discord Server.
- Register up to 2 goals with deadlines and milestones.
- Report your ongoing progress in the Forward Motion Forum or Discord Server.
- Earn and collect Pirate Gold.
- Hoard your virtual Pirate Gold and trade it for digital rewards (worldwide) or a drawing from the Treasure Bag (US only) to be mailed to you.
