Never heard of it, but…
I am DROOLING over the possibilities! Oh my goodness! What a perfect way to avoid writing!
Seriously though, if you have got a map as a JPG or from something like CAMPAIGN CARTOGRAPHER, can you make all those nifty notes?
I couldn’t agree more! This site is LOVELY!
I think I would like to try the 2-month challenges. How do they work?
hello, Abigail

…That great philosopher, Billy Joel, must’ve been right:
Only the Good Die YoungApparently, that means I will be around for a while…
Maybe it’s time for me to come back here, too.
You know what? I’ve decided that NaNoWriMo just isn’t for me. The farther into the month I went, the more discouraged and worthless I felt.
I’ve deleted all my nano everything. I need to just WRITE.
It’s possible that at some future date I can try again. Right now, it doesn’t work for me. When I finally decided that, and decided to quit being angry with myself for feeling like a quitter, I felt like 57 universes fell off of my head.
I can’t break 500 a session, but…
SOMETHING…
Makes…
Me…
Want…
To
Try! Again.
Well, it probably isn’t three weeks anymore. I guess I ought to think about considering deciding whether or not to NANO this year.
I should be done with grading all those papers on October 27. That should leave me time to plan, right?
I’m so glad that this topic came up!
I am trying to figure out how to keep track of several things at once. Classes I’m taking. Class(es) I’m teaching. Research for one nonfiction book. Practice writing in fiction, etc. Stories are bubbling in my head, and my find myself bouncing from one thing to another.
I think I need to do a course like this, although maybe not this one… Not today.
“Alvin College,” is that as in “Alvin, Texas”?
Is there a class on research?
I had all these big goals for 2013 when it comes to writing.
Christmas Day, Dad admitted he was not feeling well. In two, or is it three weeks, we went from thinking that it was pulmonary embolism to pneumonia to cancer. (Specifically, prostrate cancer that has spread to the lungs, spinal column, lymph node, and abdomen.)
At the moment, writing is my 10 minute vacation.
Having said that, and trying to teach myself to write regularly using the web site http://chains.cc/
