Thanks Mar. Unfortunately March has been terrible for myself and my family, so I haven’t been able to concentrate on writing or anything else since my last update. Hopefully things will start to get easier from the middle of next month.

February Update:

Two further chapters of TML completed, which also finished off the Two Month Challenge. Current total word count for TML stands at 32863

Wrote the first draft of a piece of flash fiction.

Reading – some more flash fiction online.

Managed to get a couple of short walks in.

Thank you both 🙂 I think that having a deadline (of sorts) is the way to go with this novel, so perhaps I’ll do the same, unofficially, for March and April.

Challenge complete! My third chapter (really Chapter 12) is 3251 words, and the fourth (Chapter 13) is 2981 words 🙂 I’m planning to make a start on Chapter 14 next week.

First update: two new chapters completed at 1288 and 1407 words respectively 🙂 I’m expecting the subsequent chapters to be rather longer, so fingers crossed I’ll be able to get the other two for this challenge written by the end of February. Good luck with the edits! I think they’re a little way off for me at the moment. I have made some progress during this month though.

Thanks Mar 🙂 I’m definitely in need of motivation, as I’m sure most of us are these days. Now that we’re in lockdown again I’ll have no shortage of time (not that I go out a great deal anyway). If the January/February challenge goes well, perhaps I’ll repeat it for March/April!
