Nice way to work your goals around the reality of how they’re driven. Good luck with both of them, especially your very novel but not quite _a_ novel project. And August is sooner than mine are up (since they still aren’t).

Congrats on the new job! My oldest worked in security for a while there and he had the same overloaded with overtime issues. However, he used it to save money for an overseas larp, so it all worked out :).

I wasn’t actually serious. I did it when computers were just starting to replace handwritten or typewriter papers so the teachers hadn’t caught on to the ability to affect spacing and font size with a few quick commands. And even then, I was caught because I tried to go too far :p. But the Arapahoe are a fascinating people.

Sounds like a good…if difficult…problem to have. For one of my series, my plan was three internal volumes of three. However, as written, the sixth book is the length of two of the others. Maybe it’ll work as the first book of the final volume, but if not, the first volume is three and the second four. They don’t always listen…[Read more]
