I would love to see a writing Challenge in this group. I love tracking word count. It’s hard for me to track hours.
I’ve been looking for a new site to track words, but so far it’s been hard to find one let alone one that I could have as an app. Right now I’m trying to get http://wordkeeperalpha.com/ to work for me. so if anyone has another word tracking site to try out let me know.
i think the most thing that surprised me was she thought that the publishing house/agent was going to have another writer mentor her. or that should be something that happens. Right now, most writers are far to busy doing their own marketing and writing, where are they going to find the time to help new writers?
i’m thinking about plugging in all the information of a series i’m getting around to editing.
Yeah, my goals would be low too, but it would get me moving. I think there’s something about knowing someone else is doing the challenges also that pushes you forward. That’s why sprints work so well for me.
It’ll be nice to have everything in one place. I’ve joined a ton of writing facebook groups but everything is messy and it’s hard to find everything. And you hardly see everything that’s been posted. It’ll be fun to have a brand new site here and a brandnew nano site for the year.
I’ve really missed this site and the chat room when there were dozens of people there talking about writing and life.
Oh this should be fun to have a new forum. I miss dropping by here every night, same with the chat room.
I’ve been doing sprints with a facebook sprint group at night. It’s become a habit now and now I can’t write without sprints. but at least I’m getting some writing done.
