Pinning is called “STICK (TO FRONT)” in this forum, so yes, still possible. Although now that I answer this I don’t remember if you can do it while creating the post, or if you have to do it after it is posted to a forum board. I’m thinking it may be the latter.

Here we go. Consider the Earth’s equator as the frame of reference. The moon is only 5.1 to 5.9 degrees off from that. So, you can reasonably go with the cardinal compass points of Earth to use for the moon. There is a nice image at this link to show the moon in relation to Earth’s equator and the sun for reference: https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-relative-planes-of-the-Moon-Earth-Sun-and-solar-system-orbits

The moon doesn’t have a magnetic pole any longer, so that’s useless to determine direction. However, it does have a north and south pole if defined by the rotational axis. So, you could use that to define north, south, east, and west. What is north and what is south is more arbitrary, but that could be the link with Earth, in that both the north and south are oriented the same direction instead of opposite.
“The International Astronomical Union (IAU) definition of the North pole for astronomical bodies is the end of the axis of rotation that points in the same direction as the Earth’s north pole relative to the plane of the Earth’s orbit.”

October 4, 2019 at 9:10 am in reply to: Request: Higher contrast between font color and background in text boxes #301938This is a CSS text size issue, as the text is already black. But I agree, having the text bigger and a little bolder would be easier on the eyes.
Putting on the to-do list.

All Joomla posts and users were ported over. We should be good there. At this point we could shut that down without losing anything (plus I have an archive of the database, just in case.) The big reason to keep it going for a bit was just in case anything catastrophic happened with the new site. So far things appear stable.
So, the only issue might be the old OLD site, which I don’t have the old links to. But I know how to get at least one. Hmm, might see if I can even go and look in on that. A dream would be to port some of that over, but to be honest, that would be a HUGE problem. There are no automated tools to help me, so it would be manual.

Okay, at least part of it is a plugin issue.
So, single break here with the above?Double break with the above?

Definitely preparing outlines. I’m also working on the story bible for the heart-project, in hopes that I’ll have the big stuff already figured out when it comes time to go full-tilt into the writing. Not that it usually works out that way, but hey, it’s a plan. 😛
Originally I had 3 outlines ready to go, but I’m already writing on the first one. I think I need to get a couple more ready to go, just so I’ll have plenty to choose from. I’ve noticed lately that I need to have options to write, otherwise I’ll get stalled.
I have such a squirrel-weird brain anymore.

I had to update the PHP version used on the hosting site, as the old version used isn’t being updated any longer and has several big security problems. As you can see, it broke part of the current FM site. However, the new site is working just fine on the more secure version of PHP.
So, I’m giving notice. I’m porting over all of the users and forums into the new site sooner rather than later. If all goes well, the new site will go live within the next 24 to 36 hours. If it goes REALLY well, then it will happen sooner than that.
Here’s to hoping it goes smoothly!
CLINK!

Big testing is done!
Software has now been cloned to the new FM site location, and is up and running.
For the next week will come more testing, and then I will do the big import of the users and forums from here to the new site. At that point I will be pointing the domain to the new folder and the new site will be live.
I’ll post here just before I do that final bit. Hopefully 24 hours before, but it might be less than that.
We are close!
