I wonder why a spammer would not take more care and make a space after a comma or full stop. You would think that writing to a bunch of writers would warn the scammer that we will quickly realise the poor spelling and punctuation was false.

I watched the launch live on my laptop. Loved it. Cried happy tears because this should have happened years ago, (returning rockets to use again and again) and it did happen this time. Wonderful. 🙂

I am hoping to finish my current draft in the next few weeks, so I am in. This is the same one I wanted to finish in Feb. 🙂

Writing slowly in the mornings 5 days a week. 🙂

Afternoons, I am cleaning each room (one a week) to remove the last of the ash and dust before winter. Chainsawing wood to stockpile for winter, one day a week when my sister is on days off from the hospital. Safer to have her on standby in case I injure myself.
Still mowing the yard once a week because the grass keeps growing. That takes about half an hour front yard, half an hour back yard and 3/4 to 1 hour out side fence. 🙂
Harvesting summer crops, preparing veg gardens for winter crops and weeding. Trimming fruit trees, and yard trees before winter.

Reading the news about the dreaded virus causing such disruptions around the world. And following the two drugs trials in each major hospital in each state in Australia, hoping everyone with COVID-19 recovers and is released after their 14 days of symptoms. If it is a success, the rest of the world can use the same two drugs, one being used for Aids patients, to help heal everyone to buy time for a real vaccine to be found and mass produced.

I can’t wait to finish this book, so I can create 3 covers and get 3 stories published, then start the next story. 🙂

Tell us a little about yourself. What genre do you like to write? Any of your stories published, or are you just beginning your writing journey?

I write Science Fiction, Fantasy and Mystery. And one Non Fiction book. All Indie published. I have been writing for years, but only got serious about 10 years ago.

I love hearing about everyone’s writing projects. It motivates me to keep going.

I am plotting a SciFi series, based on a short story I finished. I also just finished a fantasy short story, and am working on the cover and blurb. The title is another problem.

I decided I should write one short story each month for this year, get the cover and blurb done and just publish, because every time I publish something, I get a sales bump on all the other books. And I don’t advertise at all because Amazon … I am still waiting for Amazon to add the final (5th) book of my Tracker series to the series list which I published in August 2017. :blink:

Hopefully now winter is nearly here, I can write every day again, rather than worry about elderly relatives, the gardens and lawn, and house repairs. They all take time away from my writing.

I haven’t been writing (for 2 months) +because life is getting in the way, but almost freed up to continue writing on Monday, even it I only get 10-30 minute sessions.
