Get a bunch of writers in the nano and this is what happens:
Candy_Lips once more cackles cutely before going back to plotting
zette[9:12:06 PM] [Writing]: Was that a cute cackle? Sounded kind of sinister to me.
Candy_Lips[9:12:57 PM] [Cake&Tea]: *innocent look* I’m just plotting “Bad Dog”. Nothing sinister here.
zette[9:13:12 PM] [Writing]:…[Read more]
What? The ex is shootable.
She was just being nice. *hugs and giggles*
I turned away for two seconds! I swear!
AnneMarble[8:36:41 PM] [HailSateen]: How come this new pen won’t write?! Oh. Wait. *Plucks off pen condom*
Brenria[8:37:18 PM] [ ]: What if your pen gets some poor piece of paper pregnant?
AnneMarble[8:37:38 PM] [HailSateen]: So that’s where plot bunnies come from!
Yeah, this is what happened.
Candy_Lips[2:17:29 AM]‘m admitting to a friend that i fail at fruitcake
Ashe[2:19:08 AM]: No you don’t, Candy. You are a friuitcake, like all writers are.
glassquill[2:19:49 AM] [Ihaveplans]: i don’t care for fruitcake. too much fruit. not enough cake
Candy_Lips[2:26:09 AM]:*snickers* Well outside of my…[Read more]
Hi there, Octavus.
When it comes down to writing a novel, personally, I don’t look at word count. Yes, I do talk about how many words I’m getting that day, which is about normal. I set goals and I always go back to a story. My muses are flighty at best, annoying pains in my arse at worst, so I know how it feels to start a novel and go “will I…[Read more]
I might be able to try this. So put my name down, for the time being.
Hi there. Welcome to Forward Motion. Like it’s been said, we’re a friendly bunch. And the mods are just awesome and willing to answer questions if you need them to.
When I actually do a bio, depending on where it’s for, I tend to keep it short, simple and about the writing. But on most profiles that I have, I tend to admit to being a heavy reader and having discovered a love of writing when I was sort of young before finding my true passion with horror-mysteries.
It’s all about what’s being asked for, what…[Read more]
My writing tends to start with what most liner writers start out with: the inspiration.
With me, it starts out either as a question or a summary of the story. From there I figure out what the first chapter will be and start on an outline. I never write more then four or five scenes to start and add more as I write. This way the story has…[Read more]
An update on things that I’m currently working on at the moment. I think the list grew on me. o.o I might eventually add my fanfiction because I have something like 6 other stories going on there.
Original Stories status:
Don’t Look/A Delicate Thread: Prologue plus 1 to 3 written
Black Veiled Saviour: Prologue plus 1 to 7 written, 8 in the…[Read more]
I outline according to what I’m going to write per chapter (which is usually a scene only) and work it from there. My chapters are no less then 1,100 words per but are usually no more then 6K at most.
If they go past that, I look over what I’ve written past the minimum word count and then make a break there. I can’t skip having parts or chapters…[Read more]
I’m hoping to hit 3K here soon but I’m still 274 or so words off from that goal. 2,758 words total though.
The season…I haven’t really thought about that. I’m thinking summer time so no major holiday’s that I know of. I’ll have to look that up.
And I’m having one of them try to wrap his head around the spiritual world and it being real. I love…[Read more]
Thank you. *chuckles* I haven’t been working on them in the last few weeks due to needing to get other things done and out but I will be soon.
I just wanted to say thank you for the welcomes. Really. I just have been swamped with things and the such. It’s been kind of eh the last month or so since I’ve been writing so much.
Kind of late in replying, but I’m going for my fifth win. I can hope right? I am Candy_Lips on there the same as I am on here. *bounces*
I wish every luck on their projects. Excuse me while I harass my friends who started this particular bunny. They’re helping with my plotting dang it!
When I do an outline, which seems to be with every story that I write now days, I tend to write out at the least the first 10 chapters of the story. I then add more chapters to it or re-write the outline itself if I find I need to add another chapter or piece to the story.
But now days, it’s not so much about the details. I can’t do a detailed…[Read more]
