So today, I pulled up my memoir project, looked at my first picture/first place (me and my mom) and wrote my first little poem to go along with my AF brat story.
I think it has to do with people who were registered on that board then or have moderator rights. So- the rest of us should just post updates here?

OK think I got it. I did add it ass a topic instead of reply but under Poetry not Nonfiction (as the memoir is nonfiction, but adding in the poetry and the poems themselves are what I’ll be working on for the challenge.
I will do apprentice level (2000 words of material) although some might actually be edited/rewritten as I intend to add a poem or several to each section of my memoir I started last year.
I just saw/found this and also posted the same thing. It does look Zette may be setting one up for January/February.
Now nano camp is over and it’s awhile till November, I am glad to see a message from this site. Looking forward to seeing the new stuff.
I hope I can keep writing this year after nano is over, so will keep checking. I don’t think I’m going to win, but would like to keep writing with shorter works and continue my longer ones to completion too.
Welcome. I don’t come on much anymore (and only seem to write now during nano and camp) but some do write historical (and I’ve done one) not sure about Western. Most people seem to write science fiction and fantasy I think. But the site is helpful and supportive none the less.
Not yet. I did sign up for one, but only put my age group, and I bet I’m older than most on here, so let me know if we get a fm writers cabin going .
