Thanks :). I’m slowly working the knots out, but they’re still pulling the joint out of place :p. As to the monitor, I may just leave the mediums for use with laptops and reading books. I’ve been reading a paper book! It’s still a bit complicated between the glasses and sometimes needing a color overlay, but it’s possible.
So what you’re telling me is we’re trading Inktober for month end? I think you had the more fun end of the picture.
The chair thing is discovering that a chair which presses on the back of my legs (as it should in a standard 90 degree position) makes my legs numb, my feet and ankles freezing, and swells them so much I have trouble walking (on top…[Read more]
Hugs on being slowed down, but it’s good you’re taking care of yourself.
There are tutorials to figure the site out? Scary :p.
Right there with you on feeling unproductive.
Wow, that cold really has slowed me down this week. Blech.
Got trash out.
Went back to bed for a couple hours.
Worked on finishing laundry.
Spent time learning all the ins and outs of the new NaNo forums (did the tutorial and the advanced tutorial).
Poked at SFWA discussion boards.
Cooked a pot of beans. Did tacos for dinner.
Hugs on the itchy wool blanket, late pick-up for your appointment, and Excel crashing multiple times!
Yay for remembering everything for breakfast, transit bus jostling your shoulder back into place, being told you’re doing everything you should, continuing to read, remembering what you watched, and catching up on your stats!
Good luck with…[Read more]
Big hugs on the shoulder and neck issues, especially the day after PT! Hugs, too, on the secondary monitor being blurry.
Yay for getting stuff ready for Wednesday appointment and reading a fun historical romance!
Oh, right. Month end. I should look at that, too. 😛
Hugs on the morning rush, sound sensitivity, Boyd’s fixes not sticking, and not getting the Wednesday ride scheduled.
Yay for getting a sun nap, having new glasses to try, new litterbox with less tracking, and enjoying the Rookie!
Not sure what “the chair issues” are, other than what you…[Read more]
Hugs on being miserable with migraine and joint stuff and the weird keyboard hotkey mess.
Yay for family videoconference for your dad’s birthday, Colin time, and increased walking numbers! Good work on pill sort, laundry, and a nap!
So much for getting to bed early, but at least I’m caught up with stats for the moment. I’m so ridiculously slow at everything.
Today was not great but also grand. Went to my appointment and while no miracles, also no concern about where I am now. However, I didn’t finish the book or post the review, so I’m taking my new rule allowing for a Wed…[Read more]
Did two things for my Wednesday appointment (scheduled a ride and set up the paperwork) and otherwise spent the day reading a fun historical romance. I needed the downtime because among other things, my right shoulder is way out and my shoulder and neck are bound, making doing much of anything a difficult proposition.
- Month/year End — 1.5 of 28…
What’s this thing you call month end? Yeah, almost totally blew it and certainly didn’t finish off even July’s items. But did start a few of the September ones at least, threw away a ton of emails I’ll never read, and got two of my 4 appts dealt with so if I can just manage to recover, I might get something done this week.
- Month/year End — 1.3…
Well, unless I forgot something (an all too plausible reality), I succeeded in accomplishing nothing on Sunday, which is almost the same as taking the day off :).
It was my dad’s birthday, so they gathered in the Bay Area and I came in via web conference. It was nice.
Got a good amount of Colin time, and after a rough start, managed a decent…[Read more]
Thanks, you two. The obstacles are standing between me and the writer I still want to be. Yes, they’re important, but life is all too happy to eat up every bit of energy I can squirrel away, so therefore, they’re obstacles :).
They are on the goals as well. Hidden under the appts/phone/etc :).
Hugs on needing the extra sleep and feeling out of it, though sweet of your mom to check up on you :).
Yay for cover letter work and Inktober…which I’d totally forgotten about. Sigh.

Hugs on the draggy day and Tess not feeling well, but glad you stuck with her and managed outings. Eep on being followed. Sounds like going to Denny’s was a good decision all around for the depression and the following. You shouldn’t be that disappointed though. It shows the kind of person you are that you put everything aside to watch out for…[Read more]
I was feeling wiped out this morning, so I went back to bed around 8. Mom heard me coughing and came up to see if I needed anything (“Sleep!”), and then the mailman rang the doorbell to deliver packages a bit after 10, so I got up. Never really felt wide awake, though.
Did laundry. Think the fourth load needs to come out of the dryer…[Read more]
