Hi Guys. My main objective is to find a decent critique forum.
I used critique circle for my first novel, and it worked fine. But now I’m writing my second, and I’m getting garbage. So I’m hoping it’s better here.
I submitted my opening there, and it was raved about, with a few minor amendment suggestions. I applied those amendments and resubmitted it, and now it is being slated – yet the changes are minor.
We all need critiques; it is how we progress. I’ll do my bit if you do yours!November 26, 2012 at 6:53 pm #209017MaripatParticipant
Hello there and welcome to Forward Motion.
As for critiques, everyone has their own opinion and it’s up to the writer to decide what makes sense for the story. I know firsthand how hard it is to find great crit partners. It takes time. I suggest you start off by going to the roving critique board here. Post your story and also critique others and ask them to critique yours in return.
Good luck and I hope things work out for you!
