      This article about the daily use of cliches is probably PR for the book mentioned, but I thought it presented a new slant on the cliche as well as a dab of history.

        Actually, it was a fun article and because of it I wrote a blog post based on the idea that cliches are not all bad.

        So, y’know, win-win, if that’s not a terrible cliche…

        Great at theory, terrible at practice.

          Where I think they often won’t fit well is in third person narrative.
