I mentioned in the thread on that Medium article that SFWA runs a mentorship program. SFWA just tweeted about it today:
SFWA's mentorship program is opening again soon! We will be open for new mentee applications on 10/10/19. This round, we'll be making 50 matches for 3 month professional mentorships & closing when full. Please RT!
The application will be here: https://t.co/QINrUC2hLM

SFWA's mentorship program is always looking for new mentors to volunteer for a three month term. The broader our mentor pool, the more chances we have to make a good match between mentor and mentee! If you're interested in being a mentor, please apply now: https://t.co/fXn1dIO04b https://t.co/SmJmvYxGrZ
