Laser aimed rifle

This rifle is being shown at the consumer electronic show. I don’t know if anyone here can use it in a WIP, but imagination could put it into a space weapon. What got me was that you pull the trigger first, and then put your target in the cross hairs and the rifle fires. The reporter’s target was seven football fields away. The scope magnifies the target. Assassinations anybody?

There was no mention of power pack for the rifle.

Yesterday I saw where a German firm has developed a long range laser that can shoot down a drone at two miles and cut through a steel beam at distance.

So it sounds almost like a digital camera. Half press the button to focus, then full press to shoot. :cheer:
