He gave you a fast, absorbing read when you just needed something quick to distract you. No, I don’t imagine people will be reading his books in two hundred years, but there is a place for what he did. I’ve read a lot of his books, and enjoyed them, in a simple way. So I’m sad to think he’s gone.

Did I mention I had the chance to talk to his secretary at one point? Kinda hoped it was him, but he was fighting his generator at the time.
