Hello! I used to be active here several years ago, and sort of migrated away, but was reminded about it over at the Nano forums, so thought I would come back!
I write fantasy, urban fantasy, dark literary fantasy, supernatural mystery, and other stuff. I’m currently working on revising an urban fantasy novel as my main focus, but also short stories, including a flash fiction collection for all the Tarot cards.
I am looking forward to participating in various forums, especially the weekly word count and editing marathons — I remember loving those!

December 18, 2019 at 2:00 am #302764Hi, Raven. Welcome back. Your username/name isn’t familiar, but I’d forget my own if it wasn’t automatically filled in :). Sounds like a fun list of projects. Surely enough to keep you busy.
We’re slowly bringing back a bunch of things that fell by the wayside and I don’t believe anyone has accepted responsibility for the marathons (I used to run them ages ago, but I don’t have the focus I used to). However, the folder still exists, so feel free to start a marathon thread and jump in. You may find the board revives itself before it reached the top of the moderators’ list. I remember them as being very helpful to keep me going for the monthly challenges as well, and those boards are active once again.

O’Fiernan is my pen name, though, so trying to put it there everywhere now. It also was quite awhile ago — I moved to this apartment in 2012, and it was before that. I remember you, though!
Yeah, I got confused because I didn’t realize that old stuff was brought over, so when I first looked and saw the board there, I thought it meant they were still going! (because I thought everything here must be new) Then after posting this thread here, I went and looked and saw they were old. But it’s nice to know I can start one! I might do that.
There’s a lot to reacquaint myself with, but I’m glad to be back!

If you ever want to chat with live people, the new chat room is open pretty much all the time. I’m usually there all afternoon and most of the evening US time. Come join us and brainstorm or just chat about food and tea! LOL

Funny, that’s the exact handle that came to mind, but I didn’t trust it :). Yes, I remember you as RavenCorbie. A lot of people have switched to their author names with this shift, so you may see more familiar folks than you realize. You could always add your old name in the signature line if you want both new recognition and old :).
It’s neat to still have immediate access to the old stuff, but it can create confusion. On the other hand, that same confusion makes things happen as it did with the bi-monthly challenges, so it’s all good.
