Bookbub did a post on the most popular words in title, broken down by genre: What are the Most Popular Title Trends in Your Genre?
I write a lot of science fiction, and here are a few titles I came up with using their results:
Dark Star
Shadow Daughter
Dead Alien Moon
Citygate
Tomorrow’s State of Mind
Galactic Sea
The Stone Plague… um, now the bunnies are bouncing.
J.A. Marlow
The String Weavers, Salmon Run, Redpoint One series.Writer alter-ego of Dreamers Cove

. Just make sure the titles aren’t in use though.
She remakes mechanical devices, and he dreams of becoming a steamship captain in The Steamship Chronicles. Book 1 is free in eBook.

Earth Breakers Heretic (that one guy who doesn’t like earthbreaking… Someone build a gallows!)
Eden Crusades (instead of worrying about taking the Holy Land, we’ll go straight to Eden)
Warchild Filth (even warchildren need diaper changes)
Iron Chaos Tactics (the war-winning methods of an otherwise insane military leader)
😆

I’m afraid to look at the other genres in fear of spawning yet more bunnies…

September 19, 2015 at 9:31 am #243115Ok I’ve decided to switch genres and write the next hit romance novel, titled Billionaire Cowboy Love at Christmas 😆
That actually sounds totally beyond me, so sticking with fantasy, how about Fantasy Time Chronicles: Magic Blood Dragon
I think that hits all of the big words nicely!
