New to Forward Motion

Hi, my name is Janice, and I’m a writer.

Real life has been kicking my butt and medical issues have me struggling with writing some days, so several Live Journal friends who are members here suggested I come over to meet all you lovely folks.

I’m a single taxi driver–er, parent–of three grown college age kids. I’m a full-time accountant (assistant controller for a food products company), and I write speculative fiction.

I’m a graduate of Viable Paradise XV and will attend Paradise Lost 3 and Cascade Writers, both, this year.

I do a lot of beta reading, for newbies through professionals, and am always happy to read for folks when time permits.

I don’t have a lot of folks to discuss writing with, though, so I’m looking forward to meeting people here.

And, that’s about it for me. Can’t wait to meet you!
