Hello, there. I’m Cayleigh or anonymouskitten; I respond to both. I recently uprooted my life from my hometown in the Southeast and moved across the country to the Pacific Northwest. It’s most certainly a change, but it’s the beginning of an adventure. I am a single mom, and I’m trying to make my way by freelance writing and editing.
I was on Forward Motion a few years ago, but I fell off both here and writing in general. I’ve picked up my pen a little in those years, but I’ve lost that certain confidence that being a part of a writing home offers. I’m hoping to gain that back, while also encouraging other writers.
If I must categorize my work, I write in mainstream/general fiction for lack of a more inclusive genre; although, I simply refer to it as “realistic fiction.” I am a reading and blogging junkie. My blog is linked in my signature. (It also happens to be writing-oriented.)
Sounds like a lot of changes going on in your life. I’m glad to hear that returning to writing is among those changes! As you can see, Forward Motion has undergone a few changes, as well. For the better, I think. The forums are easier to navigate now. But, the helpful core, chat, forums, Vision, dares, marathons, and other fun stuff have remained the same. Let us know if you have trouble finding something specific.
