I joined last week in preparation for the Two-Year Novel Course. I was registered on the old board but unsure of user name. I could never figure out the the site and was not active. I like this new site and hope to be an active participant.
This is the year I have decided to get serious about my writing. I have retired and can’t use the excuse of no time. I write mostly short story so far but am wanting to try something bigger, hence taking the course. I enjoy reading fantasy so may head that direction.
I look forward to sharing and learning from everyone.

December 17, 2012 at 5:45 am #209959Welcome back to the site! Yep, the new site is easier to use with nice big buttons that say what they do. That’s a good thing! (Just wish the threading in this forum did things a little cleaner when going to a new page)
The upcoming 2-Year Novel course should be a lot of fun. There are already a lot of signup, and I’m sure there will be a lot more between now and January 1st. It’s a great way to get started with a novel and finding out where to take an idea. I hope you have lots of fun with it.
We look forward to having you as a more active member!

I’m glad you find the new site easier to use. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
I really enjoyed Zette’s 2YN class, and I learned a lot from it. It can seem like a lot of work, but it was worth every minute. Enjoy!
Happy writing,
