Having just got out of hospital on Monday (don’t ask ’cause I don’t know, seems it’s an age thing) after seven weeks. I finally managed to sign in to my Smashwords dashboard. The freebie give-away on BOMBER OVEHEAD now totals 1035.
My goal was a thousand. Now what do I do?

Hugs on the hospital stay. I hope you can stay away from it for a long time.
Happy writing,

~*~April 25, 2015 at 3:53 am #239868Congrats! After you celebrate, advertise your accomplishment. On what ever social media you use, on your blog, whatever. Now raise the price to anything over 2.99. Advertise that too. Make people sorry they didn’t get on board faster and now they’ll pay the full price to see what everyone else got. Don’t mention how long it was up for free. The readers don’t need to know that.
June 15, 2015 at 7:53 pm #239869Be sure to include quotes from satisfied readers.
I got a copy, read it, and liked it. A fascinating adventure in the lives of evacuees from London who are fleeing Hitler’s murderous bombs. That sort of thing.
I know it is at least partly a matter of personal taste, but when I look at some of the things which sell well, then consider how few people have downloaded this, I wonder about the future of civilisation.
June 19, 2015 at 7:29 am #239870Yikes, get better soon! On the good news: YAY! Congrats!
Now it’s time to set new goals! And, of course, write the next story.
