This thread is for the various staff members who provide Administrative and Moderating services for Forward Motion to introduce themselves. We’ve got some great people here in FM. So, without further ado, will the Admin and Mods please introduce themselves with explanations of any special duties y’all oversee!

~*~January 23, 2024 at 2:53 am #306767I’ll begin.
I’m Ashe Elton Parker, and have been a member of FM since its original founding year (see my signature). My writing tends to span various subgenres under the umbrella of Fantasy, with some dabbling in Science Fiction. I’ve had works published in the FM Short Story Anthologies that were published shortly before COVID-19 struck. Throughout my life, I’ve worked in fast food, as a security officer, and was briefly in the US Navy, among other jobs. Right now, I am currently disabled and adjusting to the realization that I’m not capable or qualified for any sort of work. To fill my time, I write, sew, quilt, embroider, and do various other crafts and activities.

~*~January 24, 2024 at 2:43 pm #306770I’m Deb Salisbury, and I write fantasy (9 novels) and historical dressmaking books (7 nonfiction). Like Ashe, I am currently disabled, but I hope to get back into the swing of writing.
I’ve been a waitress, a computer programmer, a clerk, and … I’ve lost track of anything else, unless you count Cat Mommy. 🙂Happy writing,
Deb Salisbury
