Names John D’Amante, I’ve dreamed of writing for long time, and while I’ve imagined and planned out many stories(and read, and read, and read some more), I have yet to write more than about 20 pages of anything.
Was searching on the inter-webs in preparation for NaNoWriMo this year, and found this site, thought anything that could encourage me be would be a good idea, and decided to see what its all about.
October 23, 2012 at 12:58 am #207477Hi John! Welcome to FM!
We have a great support group during NaNo, and NaNoWriMo is a fun way to loosen up the writing juices to get beyond 20 pages. Even if you don’t reach the goal of 50k, you’ve accomplished something important – you gave your writing a serious shot.
As you can tell, we’re in the process of setting up the new FM site, even though we’ve been around many years. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Happy writing,
Deb Salisbury

Be sure to stop by the NaNo board here. Lots of folks join in the fun. There’s also chat to check out, too. If you have any questions, please ask.
