Not sure where this issue came from. It’s either a new CSS problem or a plugin conflict. Or maybe a plugin setting that does more than one thing.

Should be a break between here…

      And here…

      Very strange.

          Nope.
          Browser independent.

Okay, at least part of it is a plugin issue.
So, single break here with the above?

            Double break with the above?

The plugin “BBCode Deluxe” was the culprit for the stripping the paragraph breaks, even when a user did a double return. Deactivating returned the paragraph breaks.

The plugin was the attempt to add more formatting options and BBCode to the forums (See this thread).

Forum posts will now appear as they look when creating a post. If you single-return, then there won’t be a space between paragraphs. If you double-return, then there will be a line break between paragraphs.

              Setting as resolved.

Thanks, Jam. The paragraph thing is important to me ’cause having a wall of text hits my anxiety. I really appreciate it!
