I wasn’t going to do a Newbie thread, but then thought I better just so I can announce one big change.
On the previous forum I was known as “Dreamerscove” which was from a project I was working on at the time. Well, projects and the writing life changed. For this new reset of the boards it made sense to also change the name to my main author name, which is “J.A. Marlow.”
So, same person, but just a different name!
in other news (hey, how did the Muppet newscaster get in here?), I have been writing since before I could read and write. Hey, I knew what those symbols meant! It hasn’t stopped since then. Now I have over 30 works out there among the various retailers across two pennames. Yep, a lot has changed over the years, but a lot has stayed the same. Writing every moment I can has certainly remained the same.
Finding FM in 2007 while preparing for my first Nano is one that changed. It’s been wonderful to be a part of such a supportive community of writers. What we have here is something special.

Heh, so you should recruit some more Nanoer, esp. with a fresh and 21st century forum.

Hee, I can second that.
I’ve lost track of the number of times I have been “Bah, I got nothing” or
“I only got done” in the chat room and something she has said has spurred me to get some work done. [including the occasional soft thawp to stop comparing our output to more seasoned writers.] :whistle: Still Not doing the NaNo though.
