So, I might be panicking a little bit.

I won free pitch session with an agent at this weeks writing conference! I know what novel I want to pitch and have sort of an query finished.

What do I do? What do I say?

I do not have enough hours in the day! The conference is this weekend!

      Panics…

Everything I’ve heard from agents is that they know you’re likely stressed. Just do your best and listen when they ask a question. Don’t focus on being polished as much as knowing your novel inside and out so you can answer questions you might not have anticipated.

But bottom line? You’re looking for a partner in your writing career. They are human, not out to get you. Have fun with it if you can :).

        Good luck.

I think it’s going to be good. The novel I’m going to use sounds a lot better out loud than it does on paper right now.

Just remember that it sounds good out loud, and you’ve got a solid story. There’s nothing else you need.

            Good luck!
