Well, I’m an Australian writer, and I got pointed in this direction by a fellow NaNoWriMo writer. I have an idea for my novel, but I figured I would hold off on it until I get onto this.

We have all sorts of writers at all stages of their writing journey, which makes this a great place to ask questions and get all sorts of answers. On top of the forums, we have all sorts of challenges, dares, prompts, and then chat. For writing articles, look at the free emagazine “Vision: A Resource for Writers.” The link is under “Weblogs and More” in the header.

December 7, 2012 at 3:03 am #209563Where in China? I am so far up the Yang Tse it is two hours by high speed train to a decent cup of coffee, while cheese, butter and bacon are things of the past!
January 7, 2013 at 10:23 am #209480Some serious disasters going on over here in Australia… the Tasmanian bushfires are getting out of control. So many people are missing… I may be an Australian myself but I don’t live there.
Not to mention major bushfires are widespread across the entire continent
January 7, 2013 at 10:02 pm #213321Sorry to hear about the bushfires. Hope the missing are merely missing and not hurt or dead.
Also, Check out the lessons forum. zette just started the 2YN course to help us learn to write the best novel we can. The course just started so there’s time to do lesson 1 and be ready at the end of the week for lesson 2. Welcome to FM!
January 8, 2013 at 5:07 am #209481Already ahead of you there, I’ve completed lesson one on the first day when it came out. I was stalking the boards waiting for it to appear!!
SO far those missing peoples are unknown as to whether they are missing or dead or what
