      Hi all!

My brain has literally gone blank! Introducing yourself to any new group is always intimidating!
I have been writing my first book now for about a year and am just going over yet more edits (its a space opera for want of a better description). I am finally almost ready to share it with proof readers – something I am very nervous about doing.

I hope by joining this group I can benefit from other peoples experiences and knowledge, of course I would like to be able to help others to!!

I am very keen reader of sci-fi and fantasy and am always excited when I discover a new writer whose books I love!

Not sure what else to write here so I shall stop myself before I start to ramble! I look forward to engaging with other writers on this site!

Hi Jules! Welcome to FM. :)

A space opera sounds like fun. Many of us write SF/F, so you’ll fit right in.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

        Happy writing,
        Deb Salisbury

          Jules,

Welcome. I write SF, more hard/military than space opera, and it will be interesting to compare ideas. I’ve just made the juimp to indie publishing here http://arcturian-spacefleet.com/ .

I’ve had a lot of short stories published, but this is my first novel to make it into the outside world.

          Robert
