      Hi all!

For the past few years I’ve heard good things about Forward Motion and I finally got around to checking it out. I’m glad I did! From browsing the forums this community seems much more like what I’m looking for than other groups I’ve seen, and some of the threads have already helped me with my current project.

Typically I write long fantasy stories, though I am trying to get comfortable writing shorter pieces as well. Currently I’m working on my second book.

I’m looking forward to talking about writing with everyone!

Hi Lee! Welcome to FM! :)

I agree, there’s a lot of great information here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Or if you want to start a discussion, please do start a new thread.

I hope we can help you achieve your writing goals!

        Happy writing,

          Hi, Lee!

Welcome to FM! I’m glad the site fits your needs. As Magic Seeker said, feel free to ask for any assistance you need and if necessary start a thread of your own.

If you’d like to chat with some of us members in real-time, come to Writing Groove, an affiliate site founded by one of FM’s Members, JA Marlow, who is one of FM’s administrators. Sadly, we don’t frequently hang out in FM’s chat room much any more outside of National Novel Writing Month events, usually in November. But Writing Groove has a chat. You don’t need to create a login for Writing Groove to acces the chat, though registry is free there as it is here. Same with the chat–no registration is necessary, though it’s free. Someone is in WG’s chat most of the day, though they may not necessarily be immediately available.
