Hi! I found a link to this website on the nanowrimo website and decided to come check it out. My first published novel is releasing at the end of this month, “Broken Star.” I’ve been a lover of words since as far back as I can remember. I write in the lesbian romance genre.
About me, I am thirty-two and currently back in college to further my education. I love music especially Evanescence, Sara Evans, Halestorm, Eminem, and Taylor Swift. Movie wise I am addicted to Underworld, only the ones the beautiful Kate Beckinsale is in. She’s my favorite actress. I love Castle, Bomb Girls, Lost Girl, Once Upon A Time, Greys Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, and Doctor Who.
I live in a really small town which is how my love of writing come about. There’s litterally nothing here to do unless you’re into farming, which I’m not.

The small towns of my acquaintance had a 4H club (okay, that was farming) and, uh… Well, the mining towns always had about fifty bars for every movie theatre. (In farming small towns, you had about three towns per bar, unless you had a main drag: then you had a hotel, so a sufficiently-sized town had a bar or maybe two.) Mind, every town does seem to have a coffee shop….where they talk about farming. (“Merle, why you letting that field by Abercrombie’s go fallow? Beans is the way to go, and your hogs can eat the extra.” “My daddy let it rest fallow a year, and that’s what I do. You hear that Geordie is competin’ in the tractor pull?” –this would be my relatives.)
I have a story beginning here about a gay bar for farmers…. Thursdays, anyway. Since my farming uncle was either gay or asexual, I’ve given this a surprising amount of thought.
Man, I need a life.
Anyway, welcome to Forward Motion.
Great at theory, terrible at practice.
