Hi!
I was here a longggggggggg time ago, and I don’t remember my username from back then, anyway. I did a couple of articles for Vision, though! Most recently: I’m on the NaNo forums as well, same username.
NaNo 2012 was my jump back into writing after a many, many year long hiatus. I’m excited to get back in the game and hoping to meet more people and/or get encouragement as I start checking things out again. I’ll try to keep remembering to post and chat with people and *not* disappear again.
I write pretty mainstream fiction. (Or, well, that’s what my NaNo was.) Sometimes it has fantastical elements in it, sometimes not. My next couple of projects border a fantasy base, though, so I’m excited to try that out.
I have a horrible tendency to ramble needlessly without set guidelines, so…this is it! I’m open for any questions and it’s great to see some old and new faces!

December 10, 2012 at 9:53 pm #209709Oh goodie! You found your way back to us!
As you can see, a few things have changed. New forum, and the chat needs all new sign-in names (use the same username as in here as the plan is to eventually tie together the databases). So far I’m liking the forum. Clean-looking and easy to use.
We’re starting up the workshops in January of 2013, and then there are also all the challenges and dares we do. Those might help you with your goal of jumping back into the writing. Zette is restarting her 2-Year Novel class in January after a couple year hiatus.
Yep, lots going on around here. Which I love, as it incites us to ever more writing.

December 11, 2012 at 12:50 am #209717I did – the forums look pretty impressive! Haven’t checked the chat room out yet, I might in a bit.
I’m so excited to hear about the 2-year novel class again – I wrote one of my first novels using that class! And I’ve completely forgotten about dares and challenges – I’m off to look at the boards in more detail now that I’m *cough* at home and not *cough* working.

Hurray for NaNo! I’m glad it brought you back to the writing world.

As you’ve noticed things have changed around a lot, but I think easier to navigate here. Have a look around and if you can’t find something, please ask. I’m glad you made it back here.
