Hi. :) My name is Kaleb and I’m from Georgia, US. I’m 22, and I’ve been writing in various ways for much of my life. I had an account on the old site and did a bit there, but after taking a hiatus from writing I’m looking to get into it more seriously, taking any and all advice I can and trying my best to apply it to my writing. I have tried different genres in the past, but historical and sci-fi/fantasy stories have always been my passion. I have had many difficulties over my writing journey, and still do now. I hope to find resolution for some of these problems and move forward. Thank you all for your help, I greatly appreciate it. :)

Welcome back to Forward Motion. I know the struggles of trying to write and dealing with real life issues. There are times I feel guilty for writing. It’s a matter of finding the balance of writing and life, and preserving the relationships that matter to us. Through trial and error, a balance can be made.

There is also the fact that no two writing journeys are the same. Each writer has their own adventures and mishaps, and I think that’s why having connections with other writers helps.

Welcome to the new forum boards of Forward Motion! Changes all over the place, but the core remains the same: encouraging writing.

Which is really the best way to learn. Keep writing, keep reading, write some more. As with all other things in life, we become better the more we practice. If you have specific issues, by all means start a few threads here on the forum. We love to discuss writing. :)
