Hey, I’m Layura, a 20-year-old from Malaysia. I was a member of the old site though the past two years I’ve been busy with studies and the like and haven’t been writing as much as I’d like (for shame!). I am trying to jump back into the fray but the haitus has made me lose confidence in my writing ability a little. First thing I did here was sign up for the 2YN classes (Yay! Assuming I didn’t sign up too late). I write mainly fantasy romance. The thing I love about the forum is that I get to try new genres (though they invariably end up being a romance of some sort XP). Now, I’m focusing on my world building now because [strike]I’m afraid to start writing[/strike] I think why I never finished any WiP is because I never fleshed out my world enough to have any idea of what should happen next when I get a block.
Plot bunnies, look at all the plot bunnies!! (another reason why I don’t finish my stories)

January 4, 2013 at 9:40 pm #212479Hello and welcome back to Forward Motion! I’m glad you signed up for the Two Year Novel Class. It’s a great experience and I found a lot of useful stuff that I still use today. I know the fears of starting to write again. It can be hard. Take one step at a time.
Have a look around and be sure to check out chat. If you have any questions, please ask.
