Hello all, I just discovered the new site. I was Bookworm on a few sites back, shortened to Book in the last incarnation. Used to be very active in Roving Crits, doesn’t look like that board made the transition. Had a lot of friends in the old days, maybe you guys are still around. Hope to make some new friends as well.

I like short stories on the stranger side of sci-fantasy. Have quite a few languishing on my computer and would like to tighten them up and send them out.

Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

      More cowbell!

Hi Book! I remember you! Welcome back!

I think Roving Crits got a little too sleepy. FM in general isn’t as active as it once was, but there are still a few of us old-timers hanging around, and new writers, too. 🙂

        Happy writing,

Welcome back, Book! I remember you. It’s good to see you back!

Magic Seeker’s right about it being slow here. I’m one of the old timers clinging to things here, and now handle the Goals boards. If you want to, go ahead and post some goals down there, it’ll be good to have you!

Most of us old timers and a bunch of newbies are over on Discord now. It’s a free chat app that has servers with various foci, and it has a website, computer app, and phone app available. FM has a fairly good membership, though only about a quarter of us chat with any regularity. If you have the time and are willing to sign up for a free account, come join us! There’s usually a good bit of activity in the late afternoon through the evening hours US time.

Here’s a link, it’s good for five uses:
