Hi all. I guess you could say I’m basically a newbie. I was fairly active on the FM boards several years ago when I was a teenager, and I’ve lurked on-and-off since then. Imagine my surprise when I came to check in and found that the site had moved! It looks great so far.

A bit about me: Recent college graduate, currently taking a year off for writing and other artistic pursuits before I start either grad school or another undergrad degree (still figuring things out). Right now I’m in the midst of prepping for NaNoWriMo. I’m hoping this will be the year that I finally succeed. Perhaps getting motivation and inspiration from FM will help with that. I’ve always written fantasy and science fiction stuff, but I’ve found myself dabbling in a bit of literary fiction recently.

I’m looking forward to getting further acquainted with the site and all the awesome people here.

Welcome back to the fold! Wow, what a time to come back with all the changes.

Obviously things are still in flux, so please be patient. And by all means jump into the conversations. As you can see from the Nano board here, there are a lot of us also joining in. I’m looking forward to writing my novel. I hope your planning is going well.
