Hello everyone!
Believe it or not, I stumbled upon this site quite by accident. My name is Tiffany, but you can call me Ri, or Tiffy. I answer to both, but usually Ri ends up easier to type. I’m a fiction writer, mostly fantasy although I dabble in a little bit of everything. I’m currently working on a suspense/thriller (SH, don’t tell anyone else! Do you have any idea how hard it is to explain a suspense novel without giving anything away?? I made this fatal discovery about three seconds after posting my gleeful “I’m writing another novel!” on my Facebook. Lesson learned!). I finished my last novel in early December and have put it away to “cool” before I begin the sloppy editing process.
I stumbled across FM in search of writerly companionship. My husband works an extremely early shift, and I work an extremely late shift, and none of my friends write…so there I was, trolling the internet out of sheer loneliness. And then I found you! A shining beacon of hope!
So yeah. Hi! I’m done being silly now, I think.

Welcome! That is how I stumbled across Forward Motion, as well.

January 12, 2013 at 5:20 pm #213758Hello, Ri! Welcome to Forward Motion. I love fantasy. In fact, fantasy elements tend to always slip into my writing whether I want it to or not. Hugs on the lesson learned. Have a look around the site and if you have questions, please ask.

January 13, 2013 at 2:01 am #213759Yep, this is a nice place to be, to be around other writers. Writing can be so lonely, and not everyone understands the mental state needed to do it. It’s one of many reasons I love FM so much. Having live chat with other writers makes it even better (check out chat some time).
Welcome for Forward Motion!
