Hi, I’m Ben. I used to lurk around FM a number of years ago (before the forum switch mostly). I kinda let writing and things drop while life was going through some changes and haven’t picked up any writing for a couple years.
Over Labor Day weekend a friend lent me the Kingkiller books (by Patrick Rothfuss) and I loved them. It’s exactly the genre I like, so I tore through all the available books in 6 days. Now I’m left with a head spinning full of ideas and remembered the fantasy novel I had worked on years ago.
So I’m trying to re-collect my thoughts, a surprising number of which seem to still be coherent. I’m also pretty happy that I found this inspiration shortly before NaNo, which is always a fun month.
Good to be back, maybe see you around the chat if you hop in some Wed-Fri nights. :cheer:
