Quiz: Do you know your Dante from your Defoe? Rupert Hawksley (who is he?) brings the demonic Wigtown Book Festival pub quiz to The Telegraph.
Don’t take it too seriously although the questions are genuine (I think). I scored one and a half, the half was because I read the answer a few days ago, and although he’s gets rave reviews, I don’t really like the author who made the remark.

October 3, 2013 at 5:22 pm #222299I got 60%, but the only easy ones were the name of Frodo’s mother, and the connection between Don Quixote, Le Morte D’Arthur, etc. The rest was semi-informed guesswork.
