The first Forward Motion Anthology has been a resounding success and is now live in ebook! Trade paperback size will soon follow, for those who prefer that format.
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who contributed their time and energy to writing for the anthology, and by doing so supporting this site. Whether accepted or not, I know how much time and effort it took (and to those who were not accepted, I still appreciate the submissions and hope you will find inspiration in future anthologies and send them in). We have a good group of writers here at Forward Motion and it showed.
17 authors, 17 different stories, and one prompt.
A Princess, A Boatman, and A Lizard…
Seventeen authors took up the challenge and responded with works ranging from silly to dramatic across genres such as fairy tale, steampunk, science fiction, fantasy, Native American tales and more.

November 30, 2012 at 9:05 pm #208953so, i’ve had a few friends and family members ask if they can get this in hard print? Or will this just be in an ebook version.
November 30, 2012 at 9:26 pm #209127It says at the top of the post trade paperbacks will soon be out, and she’s said in chat she’s planning on getting the print version out in Dec.

December 1, 2012 at 12:21 am #208954i didn’t even see that in the main post. thanks for the heads up!
December 1, 2012 at 2:06 am #209130That’ll be good if I can get on a con panel. I can take the book with me and display it.
December 12, 2012 at 10:01 pm #208955New links! The trade paperback version of the anthology is now for sale! There are two places at this time to order it: Amazon and Createspace. Unfortunately, the book will not propogate into the other channels until well after the holidays (it’s notoriously slow). If you order now, you can have it in your hands before the holidays.
On top of that, the ebook is now available at Apple’s iBookstore. Yay!
These links have been added to the main post to this thread.

December 29, 2012 at 7:26 pm #209805Will this be available as a paperback on Amazon.ca? I’m a cheapskate and prefer to avoid the international shipping rates.
December 29, 2012 at 11:03 pm #210478I haven’t been able to find an exact answer. Createspace is who I am using for print, and they recently expanded their printing facilities, such as into Europe. I thought they now had one in Canada, but can’t find mention of it. So, I don’t know if they are still shipping from the US to Canada, or if it’s all done there. The ebook is available through Amazon.ca (as well as Kobo and Smashwords) for Canada. I’ll keep looking.
