August 28, 2013 at 3:22 am #221344I have to disagree with number eleven. I like dogs, but they aren’t essential to writing. Every writer needs at least one cat to disturb you while you’re writing, stare at you until you’re unnerved, cuddle up to you when you get a rejection… More than one cat is even better.
