Hi, glad you've joined us to help unravel those questions.

Don't worry about the differences, whilst I can't think of anyone currently active also writing for games you'll find a few of us are very aware of games. A lot play games, so can do the translation with a few definitions.

Others, like me, are programmers as well as writers.

If you have questions you might like to post them ont he Alternative Writing forum under Genre Discussions - http://fmwriters.com/community/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=607

It doesn't specifically include Games, but that doesn't matter.

I'm particularly instrested in Game Writing, I teach high school as well as programm and write and the stories behind the games is something I've encouraged my students to think about.

Be looking forward to having discussions with you, either in chat or on the forums.
