Hey y'all. I'm Hollie, and I just signed up to this site. It looks pretty amazing, and I look forward to delving deeper into it in the days to come.

I enjoy reading and writing mostly fantasy pieces, but I branch out into other genres (and even literary fic) often enough. Although, when I write contemporary, it's usually weird, wordy pieces about much of nothing.

I haven't actually published anything yet, though I've tentatively started the process of sending out short stories to magazines. We'll see how that goes.

I look forward to getting to know this community better.

Greetings newbie from a fellow newbie!

It is a nice place here, which is why I've come back to it again now I'm taking writing seriously. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here as the people are very friendly and helpful.

Good luck with the short stories and will probably see you in the fantasy forum from time to time

Welcome to Forward Motion! This is a nice place for a writer, so you came to a good place.

Take your time in looking around. We have a lot of nooks and crannies to the site. Be sure to check out the free "Vision for Writers Ezine" for over 10 years worth of writing articles. There's a lot of great information there.
