Hi, all writers near and far and somewhere in between. I've been a member on this site for quite some time, but I've never posted anything. In fact, I completely forgot about the site and that I had already registered. Imagine my surprise when I found out my username that I use universally was already taken. So, I took a chance, used some password attempts, and lo and behold, cracked the code and was logged in.

As a recent college graduate with two virtually useless degrees (English literature and psychology), I have plenty of time on my hands to devote to not only my writing but to a writing group. I'm trying out a number of different sites, feeling them out, and seeing which, if any, mesh with my interests and needs. If you run across a profile that has "anonymouskitten," chances are it's me. I've never met anybody else with that username, and, trust me, I'm nearly everywhere on the internet. Don't be shy; say hello.

As of late, I've found a WIP on my hard drive that caught my eyes, so I've been working diligently planning it, so that I can hopefully begin the actual writing in a week or two. It's in the mystery/crime fiction genre, which is completely new territory for me. We'll see how this one goes.

I look forward to corresponding with, or at least passing by, most of you on here and possibly in that terrifying place we know as "the real world." So, good luck on your writing endeavors, and we will cross paths again shortly.

Hi anonymouskiten! I'm glad you rediscovered FM!

LOL! I also have a degree in English (a very ancient one) and I also found it to be fairly useless in and of itself. But just having a degree opened a lot of doors for me, so don't give up.

I wish you great success with your WIP.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you! I'm glad I came back. It's been far too long without the support of other writers. I plan on going further in education, but not for at least a year. It's time to recuperate and write.

Good luck with your WIP as well!
