My odd reading list for January
I had not intended this, but I thought I would check out a few of my own books on the Nook -- stuff that I sold years ago. I found out they were not nearly as bad as I expected them to be and decided to read the entire series, much of which I don't remember, at least not in detail. So in January I read the first three of the Dark Staff books:
Aubreyan Brendan's Song Crystal and the Stars
Oh, certainly there are things I would do differently now -- but overall, they seem to hold up well.
I also read book 1 of The Great Books Foundation, Readings for Discussion, First Year Course. This had three sections:
Declaration of Independence Apology and Crito by Plato Antigone by Sophocles
This has been interesting reading. I've slowly been reading the actual Great Books of the Western World and I've gotten through a few volumes, but taking these little pieces of things is much easier to read and understand. I really enjoy them and I'm on to book 2 in February. ~~~~~~Signature's Off~~~~~~
