I love her books, and have enjoyed them since the first Leandros brothers novel came out, and this first one in the Trickster series engrossed me thoroughly.

This is the first book in a new series, featuring Laura Blackstone. I enjoyed it, though his series featuring Connor Grey is my favorite of the two.

Mark Del Franco is a new one on me. Is this urban fantasy, or what?

Yes, it's urban fantasy. You might like his other series featuring Conner Grey, it's set in Boston. This one was set in DC.

I must have three books going at once right now and have been picking at my reading, oy. Anyway, this is the fifth Barker & Llewelyn. It's not the best of the series, but I enjoyed it for the most part.

So far I've loved the Sookie Stackhouse novels, thought this one isn't the best of the bunch. It had a strong feel of leading up to bigger happenings that are coming, with a smaller mystery worked in so the book was about something. Still an interesting read in a world I've come to love and look forward to.

I've gotten behind in my Walt Longmire novels, two more after this one. In this one, Walt visits his past as his past and present converge. I enjoyed it as always, though this one's subject matter was a struggle at times for me. Johnson became one of my favorite author's with his first book and remained so.

I've read this book several times, but it's been a long time since the last read. I saw the Disney movie first as a kid, then the book was one of my first "adult" reads, that lead to a love of romantic suspense, which lead to a lifetime love of mysteries. So, of course, she's a favorite author and I have all of her mysteries

It's been a while since I've had a book to add to this list. It's been crazy busy for the last couple of months and my reading has tanked. I really doubt I'll make my minimum at this point. But I finally did finished a book I had started before things went crazy. This one is the second of a new series by Thurman featuring Trixa Iktomi. I liked the first one better, but still enjoyed this one well enough. My one complaint is that Trixa is just a little too full of herself, though it is definitely part of her character, very intrinsic to who and what she is.

This is the first time I've read a book by Andrews, quite excellent. I've the creative take on the world, how magic works, the shapeshifters and vampires, and other paranormal beings. I'd read more of the series.
