I did not like the ending of this book.

The first 3/4ths were OK. I liked the character development and the action and the story up until the not-really-good-enough conflict and resolution. Left me feeling empty, disappointed and cheated $10.00-$15.00 that I paid for the audio book on audible.com

Don't get me wrong, though. Armstrong has a definite talent with the written word, but in this series the first installment was a bit of the same kind of ending reaction too but I figured heck it's a series opener... and a new author what should I expect. But this second installment really let me down. I was expecting more and received less than what I wanted.

That might be harsh, cruel and down right mean. But I expect more out of published works, that's all. Not scams that break one book of three acts into three separate books.

My opinion.

And unfortunately, I'm the kind of reader/reviewer who speaks my mind and isn't solely for the purpose of brown nosing authors for them to like me and give me free things to review.

It's nice when it happens but I am just being brutally honest here. This is the third book I've read in my life that had a horrible ending structure.

And I don't think I want to read the rest of the series.

All in all, I wish I could rewind the story and listen to it again and have it be completely different and re-write my review with raves and positiveness and love!

But I can't.
Sorry.

Adios,
R
