Did not disappoint! I know that the Dresden series can be a bit formulaic, but sometimes that's exactly what I want. I won't go into any details here--don't want to give you spoilers...although I will say that I spotted the traitor right off the bat (but this is not unusual for me...I was one of the people who figured out the plot twist in 6th Sense in the first 20 minutes of the movie). Plenty of references to Star Wars, LotR, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and I think I caught at least one from Charlotte's Web (Jim...what have you been reading lately?), and big huge changes and big huge choices for Harry, as well as a few big reveals in the overarching storyline. I can't wait to see where he goes next. Looking forward to the short story collection that's coming out next (mostly reprints, but with one or two new ones) and the RPG comes out in June. I don't really game anymore (no current friends that are into that and I don't like playing with strangers) but I may just get this one.
