(urban fantasy)

Charles "Fat Charlie" Nancy has never fit in. His fiancée's mother hates him and his boss ignores him. His estranged father is too embarrassing for words. All Fat Charlie really wants to do is settle down, be left alone, and live a proper English life. So when he gets word that his father has dropped dead in a karaoke bar in Florida, Fat Charlie discovers some things about his family that change everything.

I really liked this book. It was laugh out loud funny at times and terrifying at others. And it's written very well, I learned so much about writing from reading it.
